Grandview Baptist Church
Overview
Grandview Baptist Church is an example of a total system installation by Delta AV. Delta installed the audio, video, lighting, and control systems for the church as well as the acoustical treatment. We aided in the design of the sanctuary to keep acoustical anomalies to a minimum. Delta AV's philosophy is to apply smart engineering to a challenge and come up with a cost-effective solution. This has given Delta AV the reputation of providing more system for an extremely competitive price.
One of the challenges that arose was the balcony and time delay problems. Using digital technology we were able to delay speakers located under the balcony to be correctly time aligned with the main speakers for clarity in every location of the sanctuary.
There are three clusters of speakers in the front of the sanctuary. Floor boxes were installed on the stage so that mic inputs could be accessed when needed, and could be hidden from view when not needed. All activities in the sanctuary are also able to be distributed to most other parts of the church, with these areas having their own volume controls for flexibility.
