The PGE Park project is a complete renovation of Portland's Civic
Stadium. The heart of the new sound system is a sophisticated digital signal
processors. An operator can control this group of processers remotely and tailor
the stadium's sound through simple button presses. Delta AV performed
rigourous time alignment testing of the system to ensure uniform sound
through-out the stadium.
The 40 all-weather loudspeakers were installed in clusters with the use of a
120ft lift. Each speaker weighs nearly 100lbs, and are all time aligned through
the DSP's.
